Where there’s a muse, there’s a creative fire being stoked. While Muse as a restaurant has become the latest gustatory inspiration for the poetic of mind, the front bar is also worthy of many tipplers’ odes. Indeed, there is a breathe-easy, senses-awakening bar fitted with, well-measured bossa nova/acid-jazz music, windows and a patio. Fare that complements the varying wines and beers: a nice Italian white for the grilled squid starter, a dramatic red for the incomparable sausage specialty, and Oregon white ale with… anything.
